I was the general contractor for my forever home in the Villas and had a serious issue arise just two days before my masonry work was scheduled to begin — my original mason suddenly demanded more money at the last minute. With the project timeline at risk, I had to quickly find a replacement and properly vet the next contractor. That's when I found South Jersey Construction Enterprise and connected with Mario. His 5.0-star reviews stood out, and now I understand exactly why. From the first conversation through completion, Mario was professional, honest, and completely true to his word. His communication was clear, his scheduling was reliable, and his workmanship was exceptional. The quality of the masonry and concrete work on both my house and detached garage exceeded expectations. Everything was done carefully, cleanly, and with real craftsmanship — not rushed, not cut-corner work. The highest compliment actually came from another contractor — a union drywall contractor with over 20 years of experience — who stopped and examined the garage. He asked who did the masonry work and said he wanted Mario's contact information immediately. His exact comment was that the opposite walls measured perfectly the same and that the garage was truly square — something he said you rarely see anymore. Worked around my tree roots where other companies demanded they be ground out first. I didn't have the money for root grinding and he did great job working around them and digging some out. Sidewalk was level and looks great at a reasonable price.

Worth the Wait !! We contracted with Mario in April, but due to weather conditions (rain, rain and more rain, no fault of Mario), Mario was unable to complete the work until today (6/17/2025). I have to say Mario and his team were worth the wait. The completed concrete work (which took them only one day) exceeded our expectations. The work was intricate in that they had to work around our pool equipment and had to be precise in their digging so not to disturb any pipes. They completed all of the concrete work as well as the stone work in record time. They didn't even take breaks, just kept on going throughout the entire day. We are VERY impressed with Mario and his team. We would HIGHLY recommend Mario for any work needed. Mario and his team are professional and personable, a winning combination.

Very reliable. When the owner came to my house for a consultation (I wanted to extend my driveway), he fully explained the pouring process, materials used, and time involved. 5stars from me, beginning of the year, Mario set up a concrete hot tub pad for me. Came on time, did a excellent job. Good price. This month I needed a level spot for a portable garage. And I needed it in a hurry. I called South Jersey Construction again. Mario came out the next day to give an estimate. Got the job done on time , perfectly leveled , cleaned up nicely. The guy who delivered the garage was impressed by the job , he said "his job was made easier "by the work done by Mario .. I would absolutely use South Jersey Construction again.

Mario was able to "see" my vision for my camper pad and executed the project perfectly. The original pad was drastically out of level. Mario added onto it and created a level parking pad for my camper. I added the orange stripe to make sure I was parked in the "level" points of the pad.

They came in and finished the deck around my pool, & they did an above and beyond amazing job. They did it so quick... I literally went outside to offer drinks and by the time I came back... Not even 5 minutes the slab was mostly done. They are like friends working together. They are laughing, and busting their butts the whole time. I highly recommend you call them if you need a concrete slab. They are not only good, but they won't try to kill you with overcharging you.. The craziest thing about it is they are as good as the best. So don't be fooled into overpaying by anyone when these guys are as good as the best. If you work with them. Then they will work with you.
